The photo above is of Makenzie Myles (Carson Graham), Alexis Melish (Carson Graham), and Chloe Cullen (Handsworth Secondary) who all just got back from a trip to Colombia where they did a service trip and played in a tournament with the Howlers. They also all were a part of the BC U17 team that won a bronze in the U18 division at Nationals this past summer. Mimi Appelbe and Darcy Patterson coached that team.

The Capilano Youth Girls beat Burnited (Burnaby/United) last weekend to go to the Lower Mainland Club Finals this weekend. They will face Abbotsford RFC to see who goes to the BC Club Finals on Dec 3rd at UBC. Best of luck to the Capilano Youth Girls this weekend!

Alexis (pictured below) was also 1 of 8 athletes that just won the Regional Aboriginal Sport Award for Vancouver Coastal for her work in rugby and lacrosse. Previous Carson Graham and Capilano Lyric Atchison won that award last year.
